Sustainability Commitment

Zoos SA's Environmental Management Plan (EMP) integrates sustainability initiatives and carbon footprint reduction goals, validated by ISO-specific accreditations. Recent initiatives include advanced ecotourism accreditation, single-use plastic reduction, electric vehicle charging stations, and planting over 3,000 trees for carbon insetting and restoration. The park's educational programs emphasize social responsibility, highlighted by the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for youth.
