4WD Tracks - Bendleby Ranges
Bendleby Ranges has a range of self-drive 4WD tours, varying from 1 to 5 hours.
There are enough 4WD tracks to keep you busy for more than a couple of days, ranging from beginner to very challenging. Terrain varies from hills to plains with excellent views towards Lake Frome & Wilpena Pound.
We supply maps and extra information on arrival and talk to you about the tracks. There is also a training track near The Springs which you can try before tackling the more challenging drives.

Crotta Cottage
Built in 1890’s, it is a classic country style 4 bedroom stone homestead, with rustic charm. The main living areas are air conditioned, with ceiling fans, and a slow combustion heater in the lounge. It sleeps 8 people and is ideal for 2 families, with 2 bedrooms with a double bed, and 2 bedrooms with twin beds. There is a screened eating area and a gas BBQ on the verandah. Just bring your food and bedding.
All cooking utensils provided, just bring your food and drinks, linen and doonas to suit the bed sizes, towels and toiletries.

Gumdale Cottage
Gumdale is a fully self-contained 3 bedroom house just 2km from The Springs. It is nestled in the ranges with native pines and a gum creek at the back door, providing a very picturesque setting.
It has a separate dining room with reverse cycle air conditioning and slow combustion heater, and sleeps 8. There are two bedrooms with two single beds, and one bedroom with two double bunks. Each room has a ceiling fan. An outside covered dining area has a gas BBQ and toilet/shower facilities. Linen is also available for hire.
All cooking utensils provided, just bring your food and drinks, linen and doonas to suit the bed sizes, towels and toiletries.

Campsites
Our campsites are the perfect location for rest and recreation or a weekend getaway. Situated amongst pine and gum trees, along creek beds with showers and toilets close by for the main campground and a short drive from the remote sites. Our campsites offer privacy, shelter and amazing views of the night sky.

4WD Tracks - Hungry Ranges

The Springs Shearer’s Quarters
The Springs Shearers’ Quarters provide comfortable accommodation for up to 14. There are six twin share rooms, all newly painted and with ceiling fans. There is a large kitchen and dining area and a new toilet/shower block with 3 showers. The bathroom has recently been upgraded with shower and toilet facilities for disabled persons.
The dining/living room has a wood fire and a split system air conditioner cools the kitchen and lounge. Outside is a magnificent local slate table in the centre of the BBQ area.
All cooking utensils provided, just bring your food and drinks, linen and doonas to suit the bed sizes, towels and toiletries.
