Big Mama Sailing offers the opportunity for small personalised groups to explore the fringing Great Barrier Reef(our backyard) on-board our 18m Adams Ketch, Big Mama or a 48ft sailing vessel Ragamuffin 111. We are passionate about what we do and ensuring our guests have a memorable and enjoyable eco sailing experience, admiring the hidden gems of our region. Our business is family owned & operated.We have lived on board yachts for over 30 years, Big Mama has been our home for 13.We are suncerely passiinate about evironment and the areas we visit leaving only footprints.All our vessels are self sufficient- relying on solar, wind generators, desalintors & we prefer sailung as much as we can depending on the wind.

Full Day Adventure Island Sail

Circumnavigate Magnetic Island is a wonderful day of sailing, snorkelling(we supply the gear),exploring beaches/bays only accessible by boat, boom netting and we have kayaks and paddle boards available. We supply morning/afternoon teas, BBQ Lunch, icy cold water, cordial & environmental tax is included. BYO is welcome. Small personalised groups of 12 max.

Half Day Adventure Island Sail

9am to 1:30pm
Morning tea and a BBQ Lunch supplied. We sail, snorkel, paddle board, kayak, explore a beach/bay and boom netting. We have plenty of icy cold water & cordial. BYO is welcome.
12 guests max.

Cost:$130 per adult and $85 per child(4 to 12 years old);

Sunset Sail

2 hours of sailing. Complimentary sparkling wine or non alcoholic beverage on arrival. Antipasto Platters while watching the sunset. BYO is welcome.
