Bill's Boathouse was built and designed to minimise impact on the environment, made with mainly recycled materials. Every material is low in embodied energy and has a lower carbon footprint thought the use of sustainable products, e.g led lights, louvre windows for cross flow ventilation, double insulation to floor, walls and ceilings, high performance 'low e' double glazed 'sun energy" glass. The Boathouse is also using sustainable products eg shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash from the Zero Co, which delivers reusable pouches, eliminating plastic bottles. Recycling is also undertaken at the Boathouse. We do support charities (such as RFDS and Catherine House) and we also support local businesses though cleaning, maintenance and gourmet food and wine offerings. We provide a welcome to country, acknowledge traditional owners and the indigenous story about the formation and inpotance of the Murray River.

Bill's Boathouse II
Moored on the Murray River, our self-contained accommodation, Bill’s Boathouse II has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom, a full size shower, kitchenette & living area, wrap around timber deck with an outdoor hot-tub & 2 kayaks. Bill’s is sustainably built and gives our guests luxury wrapped by nature and by combining the principles of simplicity, achieves our biggest goal, allowing our guests to reconnect and become aware of the beauty of nature so close to the city.
