Blackwood River Houseboats is an eco-friendly business, based in Augusta WA, Australia's South West. Pam Winter and James Austin moved to secluded West Bay to establish the business in 2001. The unique location is adjacent to National Parks and local biodiversity hotspots. "We wanted to build a clean and green operation with the lightest footprint possible and every aspect of the business reflects that. The base is off-grid, the impact is negligible, vessels are fully sealed with low emission 4 stroke outboards."
