Callicoma Hill has been actively committed to sustainability for over two decades. All operational water and energy comes from the site, recycled buildings are constructed above ground to limit earthworks and retain natural drainage. We operate on 100% renewable energy and our forest sequesters carbon with a net positive carbon balance. Waste is minimised, we protect biodiversity on teh site, and participate in activities that engage with the local community and protect nature. Callicoma Hill is also actively engaged in environmental education and measures that protect the environment for generations to come.

Callicoma Hill Eco-Cabins

Callicoma Hill provides self-catering, environmentally sustainable cabin accommodation and camping in the Barrington Tops region of Australia’s Hunter Valley. The eco-cabin can accommodate up to 10 people, plus bush camping facilities and bunkhouse accommodation for up to 15 people.

Callicoma Hill is 3 hours north of Sydney, near the world heritage listed Mount Royal and Barrington Tops National Parks. It overlooks picturesque Lake St Clair and is an excellent place for birdwatching, observing Australian wildlife, bushwalking, mountain biking, or just a few days of peace and quiet.
