Cape Trib Horse Rides provide a one-of-a-kind riding experience. We’ll take you through this ancient living landscape and deepen your understanding of its cultural significance and environmental importance. Our rides are all about slowing down, moving gently through Country, feeling grounded and taking it all in.
The entire ride is at a relaxed walking pace, making it suitable for beginner riders. Along the way our guides, who are full of local knowledge will share stories of Country, native plants and animals, and the deep cultural history of the Daintree. This isn’t just a ride, it’s a journey to create connections between you, your horse and the landscape that surrounds you. Time to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy. 90 minute beginner horse rides, 2 tours per day. children over 10 years age and all participants must be under 95kg.

Horse Rides
Horse rides have been part of Cape Tribulation since 1981 when the ride came out of the jungle lodge. We have 19 horses and all can be riden by a total novice. Ride time from 8am departure and 11am, with a maximum of 8 rider’s per ride. Our friendly guides will keep you confident with your horse as well as explaining aspects of the rainforest we ride through. Mayall Beach is one the most pristine beaches in Cape Tribulation, to cool off most occasions our horses do love to enter the ocean. Adult price is $110.00 Children 14 down to 5 $70.00
