Ecosystem Cruise
This cruise spends a day relaxing and discovering the beauty that greeted the first settlers more than a century and a half ago. The journey takes you through the River Islands, Bli Bli and wetland forests and rainforest regions. The 5 hour cruise further enhances your journey by entering the Coolum Creek Eco System and Wetland Sanctuary regions with a guided board-walk of the Wetland Sanctuary/rainforest.
Nature Base Cruise
This relaxing tour is a 2 & 1/2 hour cruise that gives a glimpse of the Maroochy River, its features and the flora and fauna that surround it. An in depth commentary is given about the region’s history and geography together with habits and peculiarities of the bird life we will encounter.
Creek to Coast Cruises
The estuarine system on any river is controlled by a delicate balance of nature. This cruise exposes the natural and artificail features that now make up that balance. One is able to see the impact of developemnt (building and agriculture) and appreciate the difficulty and dangers our presence poses to the environment. This cruise is undertaken during high tides only minimising impact on the seabed and emphasing the change in the environment and ecology from the tranquil Petrie Creek to the Pacific Ocean.
