Situated on 27 hectares of sub-tropical rainforest and bushland, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is home to some of Australia’s most iconic animals. A not-for-profit organisation that participates in multiple conservation projects to ensure wildlife for future generations to come.

Sustainability Commitment
Delivery of our 5 Year Sustainability Roadmap - CWS is in the draft phase of designing out a 5 Year Sustainability Roadmap, which is being crafted to lead the Sanctuary on a clear, actionable path toward becoming a sustainability leader, fully aligned with its mission to protect and preserve wildlife and the natural environment. This roadmap will ensure that CWS meets ambitious environmental goals aligned with global standards. The roadmap will exemplify best-practice in environmental protection and sustainable resource use, not only mitigating and minimising impacts but also actively restoring nature, both on-site and farther afield. It will further outline a comprehensive strategy, that will drive positive actions for delivering a sustainable future for CWS and consequently the communities in which we operate, as well as being a centralised point that outlines our internal Sustainability programs and targets.
