Pearls of Australia - Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm

Set against the rugged beauty of the Dampier Peninsula, the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm offers accommodation and a unique eco-cultural experience in one of Australia’s last great frontiers. From glamping to original pearling shacks, camping and caravan sites – we have something to suit every traveller. Alongside the popular pearl harvest and grading tours, visitors are invited to connect more deeply with the Kimberley’s saltwater country through the farm’s own Giant Tide expeditions, cruise to Waterfall Reef or join authentic, guided cultural tours. Guests can unwind poolside overlooking the vivid tidal landscape, shop in the pearl gallery showroom, spot birdlife along shaded walking paths, but it’s the incredible marine and cultural experiences that set Cygnet Bay apart.

Sustainability Commitment

At Pearls of Australia, sustainability is at the heart of every aspect of how we farm pearls and welcome visitors to our two working pearl farms in Western Australia and New South Wales. As a family-owned business operating in some of Australia’s most pristine marine environments, we are committed to caring for the ecosystems and communities that support our farms. Our pearling practices work in harmony with nature, supporting healthy oyster populations and biodiverse marine habitats. We invest in low-impact infrastructure, renewable energy and responsible water management, and we ensure every part of the oyster is responsibly used. We also recognise and respect the deep cultural connections to sea country, working alongside Traditional Owners to share knowledge, stories and a sense of place. Through conservation, community engagement and long-term stewardship, we aim to protect these environments and leave a positive legacy for future generations.

Diver's Creek Farm Stays

Our Diver’s Creek accommodation is situated one kilometre from the main pearling village, reception and restaurant and requires a 4WD. We offer a wide range of accommodation from camping and caravan sites to safari tents and Pearler’s Shacks. The coastline is varied and interesting, changing with the tidal movements. All tents have private ensuites and share a camp kitchen and BBQ area. Nestled between the foreshore and remnant Kimberley rainforest, tents are situated to maximise the feeling of privacy.

The Pearler's Village

Situated a short walk to our restaurant, showroom, tours and reception, the Pearler’s Village features our newest eco tents (including family and wheelchair accessible options), sites suitable for camping and caravans, and is two-wheel drive accessible.

Our ‘eco-accommodation’ is designed to have minimal impact on the surrounding environment and can be dismantled and removed with virtually no trace of its being there. Eco-friendly finishings are also utilised and the result is a glamping experience with all the creature comforts and connection with the natural environment.
