FEATURED HALL OF FAME

Daintree River Cruise Centre

When you cruise with us you are cruising with the only Advanced Certified operator on the Daintree River. We prioritise providing our guests with an exceptional wildlife experience with a strong focus on operating sustainably. We were inducted into the Eco Tourism Hall of Fame in 2017 and are proud to champion our unique world heritage listed area.

Our cruises are typically 60 – 90 minutes in which time we slowly glide along the Daintree River while one of our local guides shares their knowledge about the unique tropical ecosystem. Along the way, guests will have the chance to see native wildlife such as Estuarine Crocodiles, Kingfishers, Egrets, snakes and a host of other wildlife in their natural habitat.

We want every guest that cruises with us to leave loving our river as much as we do. While we can’t guarantee what wildlife they will see, each cruise provides a unique experience. We encourage guests to make the most of their tour by asking any and all questions they may have.

All tours include the use of our private river front location with beautiful gardens and our unique timber Cruise Centre that has insect displays and a small gift shop. Morning/afternoon tea is provided for all guests (locally grown Daintree Tea – hot or iced, coffee, cold drinks, biscuits and a water station);guests can also make use of our bathroom facilities which are wheelchair friendly. In regards to wheelchair access;we can accommodate most guests with mobility restrictions. We cannot load fully motorised wheelchairs however we can safely board the majority of passengers with mobility devices including non motorised or partially motorised wheelchairs. We request that you do call to alert us to any guest that may require assistance loading so we can arrange to have additional staff on hand if needed.

Here at the Daintree River Cruise Centre, we aim to showcase all aspects of this incredible environment. From these ancient reptilian predators, to flocks of birds, schools of fish, sneaky snakes and a variety of the mangrove species lining the riverbank. All aspects of this ecosystem play an important role and are equally interesting. We encourage you to come aboard, ask as many questions as possible and let our guides show you the ultimate wildlife experience on the Daintree River.
