Eco-Lodge Accommodation
Dirk Hartog Island, Shark Bay is one of Australia’s premier eco-tourism destinations, located 19 nautical miles off the coast of Western Australia. It is renowned for its history, natural beauty, spectacular landscapes and endangered wildlife, including the reintroduction of 13 mammal species – the Return to 1616 program.
The Eco Lodge is a rustic, luxury retreat with a castaway atmosphere. Built from local island stone, the rooms were once used as quarters for the shearers during the island’s pastoral days. Today, it has been revamped into luxury accommodation that consists of six guests rooms with en-suites, an outdoor sitting area that overlooks the ocean, bar/kitchen area and panoramic views of Shark Bay.
