Ikara Safari Camp
Ikara Safari Camp offers visitors to Wilpena Pound a new ‘glamping’ experience. Located within the Flinders Ranges National Park, Ikara Safari Camp offers guests 15 premium Safari Tents complete with king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, luxury amenities, power and air-conditioning. Set amongst river red gums, native pines and abundant wildlife, Ikara Safari Camp will be the perfect base for exploring the National Park.
Wilpena Pound Camping
Situated in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, at the only entrance to the majestic Wilpena Pound. With 40 powered sites suitable for caravans, campervans and camper-trailers, and 400 natural bush sites shaded by red river gums, kangaroos and emus wander the campground, while wedge-tail eagles soar over the ancient landscape.
Room Accommodation
Comprising of 60 rooms, the resort blends effortlsly into the landscape and provides a comfortable accommodation base from which to expore the Flinders Ranges. All 60 rooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms.
Yura Udnyu
Join an experienced Yura guide for an entertaining and informative stroll to Old Wilpena Station, one of South Australia’s oldest and best preserved pastoral settlements, as well and the Ikara monument.
Sunset Spectacular

Welcome to Country
A Yura guide welcomes visitors to the area. The Welcome to Country is offered in the traditional Yura Ngawarla language and interpreted into English. The Yura guide explains the background to the Adnyamathanha flag and some of the traditional stories of the Yura Muda (dreaming).
Time Travel and Gorgeous Gorges
The gorges around Wilpena Pound Resort provide an ancient and fascinating history of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges and are visible in the fossil layers and referred to as the ‘Corridor Through Time’.
