Doki Doki Tours and Global Travel Services provide customer focused interpretive tours to the Japanese market in the Cairns region. We maintain high standards in sustainable tourism operating practices and endeavour to support the local community in which our tours operate and contribute to environmental regeneration through our direct support of conservation projects. At Doki Doki Tours we aim to provide opportunities and interpretation of the local area to enable our guests to experience the natural environment and local cultures in ways that lead to greater understanding, appreciation and enjoyment.

Doki Doki Half-Day Tour

– This tour leaves Cairns twice a day at about 8:30am and 1:00pm daily. We pick up guests. We then go to the Cairns Botanic Gardens for a walk. Then off to Hartleys Creek Crocodile Adventure for most of the day. On the way back to Cairns, we stop at one of Cairns’ beaches returning to Cairns at about 12:30pm or 5:00pm.

Doki Doki Doubutsu Tanken Tour (Animal Tour)

– travels to Mareeba where the customers look at Kangaroos on the Mareeba golf course and then head to Granite gorge to look at the Rock Wallabies. Next is the humpy (fruit and other local food products store)) store to try some local fruit and chance to buy souvenirs. Then we travel towards Yungaburra stopping at Curtain Fig National Park for a guided walk, then on to a farm on the Barron River. We sit on the bank of the river and look for Platypus. Then we have a BBQ dinner in the rainforest on the farm. After dinner, we take a short night walk through the forest looking for nocturnal animals, and then fflook at the stars on a clear night. Return to cairns 9.30pm.

GTS and Doki Doki Half-day Hummer / ATV Rainforest AM/PM Safari

– These tour leaves Cairns at about 9:00am and 1:00pm daily. We start by picking up guests from designated pick-up points between Port Douglas and Cairns. We travel to a private property, which is just before Kuranda. The customers get to participate in a 4wd ride in a H1 Hummer. Passengers are then taken by 4WD Bus to Clohesy River Fig Tree where they have a 10 minute stroll around the board walk surrounding the tree. We then return to Cairns at about 1:00pm and 5:00pm. As of April 2020, this tour will provide ATV and UTV Polaris vehicle Tours as an environmentally sensitive alternative to the Hummer Vehicles which will be discontinued.

GTS Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures Shuttle

– this half day tour departs twice daily and travels along the coastline to visit Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures and includes a boat ride where huge saltwater crocodiles can be viewed.

GTS Tjapukai Indigenous Cultural Experience

– These tours provide an AM or Full day option. With hands on experience throwing Boomerangs and spears and learning to play the Digeridoo with Indigenous performers providing cultural appreciation through stories, art and performance.

Doki Doki Kuranda Green Island World Heritage Tour

– this full day tour allows our guests to experience the wonders of two World Heritage sites within one day. Our buses transport guests to Cairns marina to travel by catamaran vessel to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef. Green Island provides the base for eco island exploration and interpretive boardwalk trails, glass bottom boat tour and snorkeling. After returning to Cairns, guests travel to Kuranda by Skyrail, After lunch and free time in Kuranda our tour travels back by road through the World Heritage Rainforest with or Japanese speaking guides providing interpretation about the Wet Tropics.

Doki Doki Light Up Paronella Park

– Departs at 4pm – Italian Buffet dinner at Roscoes Piazza in Innisfail and then Paronella Park by night. With nostalgic Spanish style buildings nestled in the lush Rainforest this tour enabling guests to experience this breathtaking landscape by starlight after the sun sets. – Return to Cairns by 9pm.

Doki Doki Star Watching Tour

– this tour departs cairns at 6pm. We collect our guest and they enjoy an Australian dinner experience at Brothers League Club. Then we drive to a private nature property in White Rock South Cairns where the customers get to view Wallabies. We then relax in a natural setting and look at the stars, before our return to Cairns, usually arriving back at around 11:00pm.

Doki Doki Kuranda Tour

– Customers can choose to travel to Kuranda by train, bus, or Skyrail, and return on any one of those vehicles as well. We pick the guests up and return them to their hotel and provide any required transfers in between. They also have a choice of either a free time in Kuranda or entry to Rainforestation. The standard pattern sees a pick-up at 8:00am and return at 5:30pm daily.

GTS Day/night Paronella Park Tour

– these full day tours enable our experienced guides to immerse guests fragile, unique and beautiful natural wonderland of the Wet Tropics during the day, visiting Mamu Tropical Skywalk’s 37-meter-high viewing tower. Sunset at Paronella Park ignites the imagination with nostalgic Spanish style buildings nestled in the Rainforest. Other highlights of this delightful experience include visiting Josephine Falls, ranked amongst the most magnificent in the region. For a chance to cool off or simply enjoy the magical symphony of sound produced by the dynamic water flow. Departs 8.30am and Return to Cairns by 5.30pm.

GTS Kuranda Tour

– Customers can choose to travel to Kuranda by train, bus, or Skyrail, and return on any one of those vehicles as well. They also have a choice of either a free time in Kuranda or entry to Rainforestation or a 3 park pass to Bird World, Koala Gardens and the Butterfly Sanctuary. The standard pattern sees a pick-up at 8:00am and return at 5:30pm daily.
