Sustainability Commitment

As a high standard tourism operator that depends entirely on the natural environment, we are acutely aware of the responsibility we have, to create a sustainable product. We Remove, Reduce and Improve. We have removed some practises like fish feeding and marine life touching to have a more natural experience. We also remove pest species like Crown of thorns starfish and Drupella, while on tour. To reduce our waste we have made some everyday changes to reduce our single use plastics, and have procedures in place to separate waste to recycle as much as possible. We make use of all fuel saving techniques and have a strict no pollution policy in place. To improve the reef going into the future we contribute to research programs wherever possible and support the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority by providing them with data on the reefs we visit. We also operate a coral nursery at North Hastings reef to replenish a site that has already been affected by climate change.
