Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre is situated in the spectacular region of Central Australia and is an outstanding, education and entertainment centre promoting sustainable living solutions for all ages. The Sanctuary is a 100 acre protected wilderness reserve, located 15 minutes south of Alice Springs. Our unique location allows for breathtaking night sky observations which can be enjoyed by all visitors by booking a ‘Star Show’.

Star Show Australia

If it’s just stars you want, then it’s time to go Galactic! Under the brilliant desert skies of the southern hemisphere, we invite you to take part in one of the most magical sky observation programs in the world.

Spirit of Outback

If you want to get tribal, then come to Tribal Night. Join in as a local indigenous guide shares a rich culture of art, music and dance. It’s a magical show, motivating you to dance around an open fire in an aboriginal ceremony under a galaxy full of stars. This program is followed by an exploration of the night sky and then a traditional bush-oven dinner.

Earth's Cool

Earth’s Cool is an interactive, ‘Sustainable Living in Action Tour’, for people of all ages. This action tour, around 18 of the Sanctuary’s educative displays includes: windmills, enviro – loos, solar panels, solar hot water systems, horticulture, geodesic domes and homes of the future, batteries for renewable power, a Native American Tipi Village and much more.
