Fitzroy Island Adventures
Fitzroy Island Adventures operates full and half-day tours daily from Cairns to Fitzroy Island, a largely untouched National Park on the fringe of the Great Barrier Reef, just 45 minutes away. Unlike sandy coral cays, Fitzroy is a continental island featuring lush rainforest, heathland walking tracks, breathtaking summit lookouts, and stunning coral accessible directly from the beach. Activities include snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours, and self-guided walks through rainforest and heathland to Nudey Beach and the Summit. The island is also home to a turtle rehabilitation centre. A new Two Island Explorer combining Fitzroy and Green Island is also available. Advanced ECO-certified and proudly Australian owned.
