Fraser Dingo 4wd Adventures offers adventure tours and 4wd hire to K’gari (formerly Fraser Island). We cater for all ages with a range of over night options. Guided 4wding with a tagalong tour where you get to drive but have the peace of mind with a knowledgeable guide. Self drive 4wd options for 1-4 days with both accommodation and camping choices. We also offer seasonal hiking tours, both self-guided with a 4wd transfer and guided longer hikes for small groups of 6pax per trip.

PINK is GREEN as magenta pink is our signature colour we are working towards establishing an Eco-focus around letting our customers know that if they chose pink they are choosing a green option and helping the environment. This Eco focus will be shown through; stickers in cars that highlight why we don’t have air-conditioning in our vehicles. Less fuel consumption, no need to re-gas, keeps cost down for customer and encourages them to open their window and enjoy the pristine air of World Heritage K'gari. Encourages more involvement with nature.

Fraser Island Hiking - (2-6 day self-guided)

Seasonal (March to Oct) Self guided and guided hikes along the Fraser Island Great walk track system. 2 – 6 day options available Hiking gear and maps provided, backpacks can be hired. Small group of min 2 – 6 max. Stay in the National Parks hikers camps and go where the 4wd’s don’t go.

Fraser Dingo Tagalong Tours (multi day tours 2 & 3 Day)

For those who love nature adventures, but prefer their creature comforts when it comes to lodging, this is the best of both worlds on Fraser Island. Enjoy a 2 or 3 day tag-along tour of Fraser Island from Hervey Bay that travels by 4WD vehicles to see K’gari’s highlights. Learn all about Fraser Island’s cultural and natural heritage from your experienced guide.

4WD Hire - Self Guided (1 or more days)

Get to see K’gari away from big groups, 2 – 5 people per vehicle. 1-4 day hires. We give each hirer a personal itinerary for their trip to help guide them around K’gari. So they get to see all the sites without wasting time going to areas that may not be of interest. This also helps restrict traffic to more remote areas keeping them untouched.

Fraser Island Hiking Supported Pack Free Hike

Pack free hiking option where all the equipment is transferred into the walkers camps or the hikers are transfer from the Great Walk track back to accommodation. All inclusive transfers from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island, food and equipment provided.
