Our boat charters embrace the aspect of slow travel and low passenger numbers to reduce our environmental impact. We encourage all charterers to use wind power as the preferred method of travel instead of engine power. Our charters allow visitors to access the less-populated areas of K’gari - Fraser Island that are only accessible by boat avoiding the problem of overtourism. Charterers are also spoken to about securing rubbish correctly when on bareboat charter and are also encouraged to stop and pick up any rubbish they see along the way on their travels if it is safe to do so.

Private charters will depart from Hervey Bay and set sail across the Great Sandy Strait and feature locations along the western coast of K’gari (formerly Fraser Island), Big Woody Island, Round Island, Pelican Bank and more.
