Long Paddock Ride

Ride out through the sheltered forest areas and across the rolling acres of farmland. The
tour wanders out through bushland then into open farming country. It’s a lovely
place to go for a trot before heading back into more woodland areas.

The Wanderer Tour

Half day forest and bushland trek. 3 hours of exploring through the pristine
forest. Don’t worry though, it’s not all at a pace, there’s plenty of opportunity
to walk along the way, rest your horse and enjoy the stunning scenery!

Private Tours

The Private Tour option may be taken on any tour except multi-day treks. The Private Tour incurs an extra cost: it allows the participant to have their own tour guides allocated. This is a great option if you would prefer a customised and flexible tour.

Boranup Forest Ride – not currently available

A chance to experience the majestic Boranup Karri forest on horseback, an icon of the
South West Forests. A leisurely ride with some trotting on the wider stretches of the track.

The Margaret River Ride

A 3-Day or 5-Day Horse Ride through some of the most picturesque natural environments in the South West. Salty, windswept, never-ending beach canters, swimming your horse bareback in the tranquil ocean and riding along secluded bush tracks alive with native wildlife including kangaroos, emus and cockatoos.

The Weekender

Day 1: We mount up in the Boranup Karri forest (Leeuwin Naturaliste Park). It’s a 2.5-hour (ish) ride.
Day 2: Meet at Forest Beach Busselton where we’ll have horses ready for a cruisey ride along the shoreline followed by a swim in the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay.

The 2 Day Sunkland Ride

On the first day we head out for the day riding and exploring in the Whicher
National Park. We’ll have a cooked lunch out in the pine forest. Day 2, arrive at
Jesters Flat early morning, before riding out to St Margaret’s vineyard (through
the Rapids Conservation Park), for a long table lunch in the paddock.

Beginners Bushride

After general instructions in the undercover arena, the horse riders are guided
out into the surrounding bushland and farmland. The ride is taken at a walking
pace only. There is ample opportunity to ask questions along the way or simply
relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding bushland.

Country Lane Tour

An easy horse ride through premium Margaret River çountryside and along the
pristine forest bush tracks. There’s often a chance to trot during the ride
(subject to entire group safety of course!), so a little bit of fitness and agility is
required. This ride is perfect for groups of mixed abilities.

The Rosa Brook Retreat

An escape to the country for horse riding and relaxation. Sleep in the
beautifully laid out bell tents, share in the fabulous homemade meals (and
local wines!) and ride out through spectacular forest countryside. There will be
plenty of time to take in the natural beauty of this pristine region.

Little Grove Tour

Join us for a beautiful afternoon tour through the surrounding forests and
bushland. A lovely opportunity to enjoy a horse ride in the late afternoon as
well as a chance to see some of the local fauna out and about! You may even
like to try our current vintage Sauvignon Blanc to top off the day…

Bushman’s Ride

A 2 hour ride across surrounding farmland and into the Rapids Conservation
Park and State Forest areas. Plenty of scope for trotting along the way. This is
quite an exhilarating ride, so you’ll need to have a little bit of fitness!

Jesters Saddle Club

Saddle Club starts with getting to know your horse. Before heading off for the 1 hour
bushland ride, we provide a snack and drink. Finally, it’s time to feed and care for your pony
before relaxing back at the cottage with marshmallows to toast over the open fire (in the
cooler months)!

Introduction to Horse Riding

A 1.5hour beginner horse riding experience suitable for children and adults.
After a safety introduction and when guests have the confidence and skills
required, the tour wanders out into the surrounding bushland for a relaxed
ride…with plenty of opportunity to stop for photos! Perfect to enjoy the natural
environment of lovely Rosa Brook.
