Larapinta Trail 5 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

Our many years experience running Pack Free walks on the Larapinta has enabled us to create the ultimate 5 day itinerary, that our guests just absolutely love. Combine this with the local knowledge of our indigenous guest guide, an amazing helicopter flight to see the Larapinta from the air, 2 nights at our campsite centrally located at magnificent Ormiston Gorge, 2 nights at the historic Glen Helen Homestead with its restaurant and swimming pool to cool off after a day’s walk and you have a guided Pack Free walk with all the creature comforts.
This trail was voted by National Geographic as one of the top 20 trekking experiences to be had on the planet. Surprisingly this ancient landscape is abundant with natural beauty including magnificent gorges, high ridges with breathtaking views and peaceful waterholes. The Larapinta Trail Walk offers over 600 species of plants, abundant wildlife and glimpses of the longest continuous cultural history in the world, the Arrente People who have been in the region for the last 50,000 year

Royal National Park Coastal 2 Day Pack-Free Walk

You would never guess such a magnificent hiking experience would exist in Sydney. This award-winning 2 day Pack Free Royal National Park Walk on the spectacular Coast Track is the jewel in the crown of the Royal National Park in Sydney. The Coast Track runs along sheer sandstone cliffs with panoramic views stretching miles in all directions. Experience picturesque freshwater lagoons, the unusual milky white cliff faces sculpted by the sea, ancient Aboriginal carvings and the tranquil Palm Jungle rainforest plus much more. This is a 26km walk over 2 days with unlimited opportunities for photographing the scenic coastline, and observing birds and wildflowers in this magnificent National Park.

If you have your own transport, we are happy to offer complimentary one night pre-tour accommodation at the Heritage cottage before your tour. Please request this when booking. Please note due to its remote location you will need to be able to drive to the cottage to stay the night prior. Our guides will pick you up from the cottage on morning of day one.

Cape to Cape 4 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

In the south west corner of Western Australia lies the famous Margaret River wine region and the spectacular Cape to Cape walk. The Cape to Cape track covers a massive 135 kilometres, stretching from the lighthouses of Cape Nauraliste in the north to Cape Leeuwin in the south. On our 4 day Pack Free walk we showcase the best walking sections of this coastline, wandering along high limestone cliffs for magnificent views as well as meandering through pretty coastal heathland and idyllic forests.
On a Life’s An Adventure tour, we always include a ‘Wow Factor’ to ensure your journey is truly inspirational and unique. On the last day of your walk, a helicopter will meet us at the end of our walk on the beach and whisk us away for a spectacular flight to the famous Leeuwin Estate Winery. On arrival we will enjoy a fabulous final celebratory lunch with Leeuwin Estate wines. An amazing way to finish our journey.
On our walk you will indulge in sensational high quality produce that makes this region unique. On night 2 includes a magnificent dinner at a local Winery Restaurant indulging in the Margaret wines over dinner. Indulge in local and Western Australian ingredients, including produce. Day 4 is a special highlight lunch at Leeuwin Estate Winery, combining fine wine and the district’s fresh food delicacies. Whilst our other evening meals will be spent at the Pullman Bunker Bay Resort as we dine in the’ Other Side of the Moon’ Restaurant which features a selection of fresh, locally sourced produce perfectly matched with Margaret River wines.

Great Blue Mountains Traverse 3 Day Pack-Free Walk

The Blue Mountains in NSW is a magical location, famous for it’s dramatic escarpments, spectacular forests and stunning waterfalls this region is a walker’s paradise. On this spectacular 3 day pack walk we traverse the great Blue Mountains from Blackheath to Wentworth Falls walking the most spectacular trails. Discover the lush fern gullies of the Grand Canyon, take in the stunning views from the rocky outcrop of Ruined Castle and be amazed with a Valley of Waterfalls at Wentworth Falls.

This fantastic 4 day walking holiday is for our guests who want to experience hiking in Cradle Mountain National Park without having to undertake an arduous walking experience with packs. You’ll explore magnificent Crater Lake, Lake Lila, Dove Lake and for those who are up to the challenge.. a walk to the summit of Cradle Mountain. On day 4 our guests will enjoy a walk to the remote Walls of Jerusalem – rated as hard.

On this tour you will stay in the finest Mountain Lodges of this region. Enjoy three nights at the superb Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge. on the edge of Cradle Mountains-Lake St Clair National Park. Stay in delightful Pencil Pine Cabins and mingle with your group in the main lodge taking in a drink around the warm cosy fireplaces.

Goldfields Track 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

The wonderful Goldfields Track, in Victoria is a 210km walking trail linking the great goldfield towns of Ballarat and Bendigo. Originally known as the Great Dividing Trail, it follows pretty creeks, gullies and ridges of the Great Divide from the wet temperate forests at Daylesford to the dry northern plains. On this 3 day walking holiday we will explore the highlights of this trail crossing rivers lined with ferns and discovering deep gullies covered with mine shafts as well as stone ruins and the relics of the gold rush 150 years ago. Along the way encounter an array of nectar feeding honeyeaters as well as colourful parrots. Add to this our afternoons and evenings in the spa country towns of Daylesford and Hepburn Spa, local produce and wines and you have the perfect walking experience.
You can’t visit Victoria’s famous Spa Country without indulging in a natural mineral spa and luckily for our guests you won’t need to travel to experience this, Australia’s most praised and award-winning mineral Spa is in the grounds of our hotel. Our guests will enjoy a 60 minutes session soaking in one of the three open air hot mineral plunge pools, whilst overlooking the stunning landscape gardens of the property. A superb way to end the day.

Kangaroo Island 6 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

In South Australia a short distance from the mainland lies beautiful Kangaroo Island. Over a third of the island is protected by National Parks and Conservation areas. This creates a sanctuary abundant with native wildlife from sea lions and penguin colonies to striking birdlife and mammals. Our 6 day walk has been carefully designed so you can experience a range of landscapes of striking rock formations and vast wilderness areas in the National Park, savour sensational local produce and wines and indulge in exceptional accommodation.

On our walk you will indulge in sensational high quality produce that makes this region unique. Dinners will be spent relaxing in the Beach Lodge, enjoy wonderful meals matched with local South Australian wines.

Tarkine Wilderness 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

There are few places left that can be truly described as wild and untouched, but the remote Tarkine is one of these places. This vast 447,000 hectare wilderness area is renowned for its remote waterfalls, stunning myrtle rainforests, pristine rivers, dramatic mountain tops and wild coastline. The Tarkine is one of Tasmania’s greatest treasures. The Tarkine’s size, naturalness and habitat diversity make it an outstanding refuge for native mammals such as the Tasmanian Devil as well as more than 130 different species of birds. It is home to more than 60 rare, threatened and endangered species and is Australia’s largest tract of temperate rainforest.

Our guests will enjoy two nights at the remote Corinna Wilderness Resort set on the banks of the pristine Pieman River and surrounded by the Tarkine Rainforest. Corinna was once a historical gold mining settlement in the 1800’s and as such this remote Resort still has some of the historical buildings of this era. Our guests will stay in the best accommodation in the township in newly built 1 bedroom cottages. These cottages exterior have been designed with original materials to give the look of a shanty town, but with modern interiors, en suite and facilities.

On this tour we will enjoy a private boat transfer down the Pieman River to the start of our walk to access a section of the Tarkine’s ‘Coast Track Walk’.

Yuraygir Coastal 4 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

This pack free walk explores the Yuraygir Coastal Walk near Yamba on the mid north coast of NSW. This 65km walk takes you takes you from Angourie to Red Rock, the largest coastline of national park in NSW. During this guided 4 day walk, you will meander through rocky headlands, bays, beaches covered with pandanus, coffee rock cliffs and lush rainforest. You might even find some whale bones spread between the driftwood or spot a coastal emu.
This walk allows you to experience the beautiful coastal nature and re-trace the history of Yuraygir. One legend of Yuraygir describes the story of two Aboriginal men who changed their footprints into that of coastal emus in order to escape their chasers. These legendary coastal emus are represented in the walk logo spotted across the National Park.
In this remote area, we have chosen the best accommodation available. Situated in lush rainforest is Angourie Resort, our charming accommodation for the first 2 nights of your walk. Voted the best accommodation in the area, you’ll find a fantastic pool and superb restaurant at this unique resort. On our final 2 nights our accommodation is further south near the trail at the Wooli River Lodges. Situated on the Wooli River, the lodges are perfectly located for a short transfer from the trail in lovely natural surroundings.
At Angourie Resort we dine in the stylish Cunjevoi Restaurant. The resident chef uses passion and personality to create wonderful modern Australian dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Whilst our stay at Wooli will have a true Aussie flavour as we dine with the locals at Emilio’s Bistro in the colourful local hotel. Owner Emilio has a varied menu of delicious Italian cuisine alongside German and Austrian.

Bibbulmun 5 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

This fantastic 5 day Pack Free walk showcases the highlights of the long distance Bibbulmun Track in the South West region of Western Australia. The Bibbulmun track covers 1000kms from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills to Albany. With a distance of over 1000kms, to do the walk in its entirety would take around 8 weeks, instead we have hand picked the best sections of this track to provide you with a sensational 5 day journey. The Bibbulmun track has a deep indigenous connection, the track derived its name from the Bibbulmun people, a sub group of the Noongar, whom originally populated the south west corner of the state.
Discover varied landscapes of the Bibbulmun track and wine regions. Walk through the stunning and tranquil South West Forests with their towering karri and tingle trees, including pretty Beedelup Falls near Pemberton. Explore some of Australia’s most magnificent coastline with their giant granite boulders, stunning beaches and flowering heathlands. Lake Pedder & South West Wilderness 3 Day Pack-Free Wilderness Walk

This fantastic 3 day walking holiday explores the remote South West Wilderness region near Lake Pedder. The Southwest National Park is over six hundred thousand hectares, and the largest National Park in Tasmania and one of the last remaining temperate wilderness areas on Earth. The park holds some of Australia’s most striking features including wild rivers, rugged mountains, button grass plains and green rainforests. The beauty of this area is its seclusion, being cut off from the chaos of the modern world.

Situated on the edge of stunning Lake Pedder, lies the Lake Pedder Wilderness Lodge a place of tranquillity and breathtaking scenery. Spend 2 nights in this remote area, and enjoy your evening relaxing in the main lounge and bar area by the cosy fireplace taking in breathtaking views of the lake.

Cape to Cape and Bibbulmun 8 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

This fantastic 8 day Pack Free walk showcases the two best walking trails of the South West region of Western Australia… the Cape to Cape and the Bibbulmun tracks. With a combined distance of over 1100kms, to do both walks would normally take around 9 weeks, instead we have hand picked the best sections of both tracks to provide you with an inspiring 8 day journey.
Our first 4 days is spent walking the best of the Cape to Cape walk in the Margaret River region, with its timeless landscapes of high limestone cliffs and pretty heathlands. Indulge in superb Margaret River wines as well as local produce and for a truly unforgettable journey we will pick you up at the end of your walk on the beachfront by helicopter and transport you to Leeuwin Estate winery for a superb lunch with wines.
From here we head to the Karri Valley near Pemberton to start our Bibbulmun walking experience. Experience the tranquility and beauty of the Karri and Tingle Forest as well as some of Australia’s most magnificent coastline. With such a diversity of landscapes and experiences the entire South West region is sure to enchant all your senses.

Karijini National Park & Ningaloo Reef 7day pack-free walk

From the spectacular red gorges and spinifex rangelands of Pilbara through to the vibrant, turquoise waters and rich reefs of the Indian Ocean, this tour takes in some of the most remarkable scenery in Western Australia from Karijini National Parkto the coastal beauty of the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef.

Great Ocean 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

The Great Ocean walk is one of Australia’s most popular Bucket List walks. Whilst the famous Great Ocean Road doesn’t always follow the coastline, this walk allows you to go where the road doesn’t. To walk the entire Great Ocean Walk from Apollo Bay to the impressive Twelve Apostles is a staggering 104kms, taking around 8 days. Our Great Ocean walking holiday has been carefully curated so that you experience walking the best sections in just 3 days, allowing you to discover its exceptional natural beauty over a long weekend.
On this fantastic 3 day walking holiday you will experience a diversity of natural landscapes from majestic tall forests and coastal heath-lands to a dramatic coastline like no other with the sandstone sea stacks of the Twelve Apostles its impressive finale. Along the way you will be charmed by the abundant local wildlife you will encounter in this area. It is easy to spot koalas lazing in a gum tree, echidna and wallabies, as well as an array of bird life.

Byron Hinterland 3 day pack-free walk

Many people flock to Byron Bay in northern NSW for its beautiful coastline, but Byron’s Hinterland region is just as impressive. Discover a magical landscape of ancient rainforests, delight in the dramatic cascading waterfalls of Nightcap National Park and Whian Whian State Conservation Area, walk along the beach to the three sisters at Broken Head and more.

Grampians 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

Covering 168,000 hectares the Grampians National Park is renowned for its outstanding mountainous scenery, a million years in the making. On this 3 day walking experience we have hand picked the best regions in the National Park including a section of the new Grampians Peak Trail. We explore the striking weathered peaks and escarpments, towering rock formations draped with rich forests, cascading waterfalls and fern filled gorges. Delight in the abundant bird and wildlife and 800 indigenous plant species, 20 of which are found nowhere else in the world and admire the ancient indigenous rock art, with this region having the largest number of rock art sites in southern Australia.
This walk has been carefully designed to encapsulate the best of the Northern Grampians, the most spectacular region of this vast National Park including a section of the new Grampians Peak Trail. We’ve incorporated a magnificent helicopter flight at the end of day 3 allowing our guests to witness the dramatic views of the impressive weathered peaks and escarpment of the vast Mount Difficult Range from the air. (An area which can only be viewed normally by hiking into the area with a heavy pack).

Great North 3 day Pack-free walk

The iconic Great North Walk is an epic trail which begins in Sydney and winds it’s way north. On our 3 day Pack-Free walk we have chosen our favourite section exploring the Berowra Waters and Hawkesbury regions. Meander through rare Blue Gum forests, traverses steep river gorges, cascading waterfalls discovers weathered sandstone caves and more.

Maria Island 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

If you are looking for a walking holiday in Tasmania you can’t go past Maria Island on the east coast. Mountainous in the interior and surrounded by stretches of beautiful white sandy beaches, aqua waters and limestone cliffs, this island is a hidden gem unknown to many.
Enjoy three days pack Free walk of Maria Island with your overnight bags transported for the entire journey leaving you free to soak up the spectacular scenery, admire the rich and abundant wildlife and take in the intriguing history.

On our 3 day walking experience you will explore the natural delights of the island’s diverse landscapes and wildlife as well as tasting the tantalising local produce food which will undoubtedly leave you wanting more, including extravagant cheese, fresh oysters and mellow wine.
No need to carry heavy packs or sleep in tents, this walk has been designed for those looking for an affordable multi day walking experience with all the creature comforts. Your nights will be spent in boutique eco-friendly accommodation at beautiful Adventure Bay. All meals will be prepared for you, featuring local produce and wines, so you can sit back, relax and put your feet up after an enjoyable day’s hiking. This is small group touring at its best with a maximum of 8 guests per tour.
On day 3 enjoy a ‘Wow” moment when we finish our walking tour with a superb Bruny Island cruise. See amazing sea caves and sea cliffs of Bruny Island and if we are enjoy some up close marine life encounters such as dolphins, seals and whales. An incredible way to finish our journey.

Gold Coast Hinterland 3 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

This 3 day pack free walk traverses the spectacular Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland, a unique World Heritage Area comprising of Australia’s largest remnant of ancient subtropical Gondwana Rainforests. On this walk you will explore misty forests of 2000 year old Antarctic beech trees, rugged mountain scenery, lush palm filled gullies and cascading crystal clear streams. A birdlovers paradise, this area is home to more than 230 species including the rare Albert’s lyrebird and regent bowerbird as well as Australia’s largest collection of sub-tropical birds. This unique and special region is not to be missed.

Rather than waste time driving the hour long windy road from O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat on day 3. Our helicopter will meet us after our walk and transport us for an incredible journey to see the spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland Escarpment from the air. Landing at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards we will enjoy a celebratory lunch and wine tasting, a fantastic way to finish our journey.

Flinders Ranges 5 Day Pack-Free Guided Walk

Come discover the stunning Flinders Rangers in outback South Australia on this stunning 5 day walk. With private flights directly from Adelaide to Rawnsley Park in the Flinders Ranges, you will avoid the long 5 hour drive each way to access this remote and stunning landscapes. This walk has been designed for those looking for a guided Pack Free walking experience with everything done for you, so you can focus on enjoying the walk. Our guests won’t be asked to carry their clothes or overnight bags for the entire tour, these will be transported for you each day. This is a big advantage for our guests, in that you will avoid carrying a heavy rucksack on your back every day. With Life’s An Adventure you will carry as little as your water bottle, camera and lunch each day!

Having a comfortable place to rest is an important part of our walking experience. Our first night is spent at the historic Jenolan Caves House in a Grand Classic Room with en suite. Our second night will be at the newly renovated Hampton Hotel enjoying superb comfort in your room.

Explore the dramatic landscapes and gorges of the Kimberley as we enjoy a spectacular heli hiking experience to the remote fingers of Piccaninny Gorge (a place which is only normally accessible on a 3 day hike with a heavy pack).
Come with us on a wonderful journey as we explore the spectacular beehive domes of the Bungles. Part of the mystique of the Bungle Bungle range is that although it has a rich Aboriginal culture for over 20,000 years, it was not until 1879 that the first white Australians saw the brilliance of this hidden jewel. But we don’t stop here, we then head further into the Kimberley to explore the magnificent gorges and rainforest pockets of El Questro with its spectacular landscapes and amazing walking trails. This will be a journey you will remember for ever with so many memorable moments included!
Our journey has the option to include a spectacular heli hiking experience into the Bungles to explore the upper reaches of Piccaninny Gorge. To experience this area, would normally take 3 days hiking with overnight camping supplies in a heavy pack. (Including one day to reach the mouth of the gorge, then another day to explore the gorge and then another day to retrace your steps and hike back to the start). With OUR journey we will access this area in a day with our helicopter dropping us at the mouth of the gorge, allowing us the day to explore the best areas of this enormous gorge, that cuts through the Bungle Range.

This 3 day walk has been designed for those looking for a Pack Free walk of the Bay of Fires. Avoid carrying your clothes or a heavy pack and walk with as little as your camera, water and lunch each day. Situated on the east coast of Tasmania, this magical and remote landscape showcases pure white perfect beaches, vivid orange granite boulders and a ribbon of sapphire and emerald seas. The Bay of Fires is a truly stunning destination and a photographer’s paradise.

Our walking experience spends 2 nights in our waterfront beachshack. With only a short 15 minute transfer from the end of the trail on day 1 and the ability to walk into the beachshack on day 2, you’ll find this charming accommodation with its beach decor and lovely Ansons Bay views, the perfect place to put your feet up after a day’s walk.

On the morning of day 3 before your walk, enjoy a superb wilderness cruise from Binalong Bay exploring the Bay of Fires from the water. During the journey we will visit a delightful Seal Colony, to see the seals frolicking in the water or sunning themselves on the large boulders. If we are lucky, we may even meet some playful dolphins or whales along the way.

Light to Light 3 Day Pack-Free Sapphire Coast Walk

One of New South Wales best kept secrets is the amazing Light to Light Walk situated on the Sapphire Coast near Eden in New South Wales. This scenic guided Pack Free 30km walk winds its way from the historic Lighthouse at Boyds Tower to the charming 1883 Lighthouse at Green Cape. This dramatic landscape is a kaleidoscope of contrasts from the striking 320 million years old red rocky outcrops to coastal forests.
Far from clinging to the coast, the walk meanders across the invisible boundaries that separate one set of plant habitats from another. As if stepping through a door, heathland gives away to tall open forests. Thick groves of tea tree or paperbark trees emerge into open coastal banksia woodlands or imposing forests of Woolly Butt.
After a day’s hiking experience, there’s nothing better than returning to wonderful accommodation where you can rest and recharge your batteries.
