Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expedition
Naturaliste Charters world renowned full day Killer Whale Expeditions depart from Bremer Bay, a two hour drive from Albany or five hour drive from Perth, Western Australia.
Naturaliste Charters is the only operator with knowledge and experience of the Bremer Canyon marine environment and it’s wildlife being the Founder’s of Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expeditions. All crew are experienced in finding wildlife and have expert knowledge of the Southern ocean and weather conditions and are fully trained in all aspects of marine safety, constantly monitoring meteorological forecasts and responding professionally to any changes.
Dunsborough Whale Watching
Experience the southern migration of the great whales from the picturesque seaside town of Dunsborough. This incredible journey is the longest migration of any mammal on earth. From the beginning of September, humpback whales return to the feeding grounds of Antarctica. In October, we begin to see blue whales in the bay as they too head south. The southern migration is special. In the protective care of their mothers, calves leave their birthplace in the tropical north and make the epic trek south to Antarctic waters for the first time, an incredible journey for a baby just months old. The calm, protected waters of Geographe Bay offer a welcome respite to the weary wanderers, an opportunity to rest before crossing an entire ocean for the first time.

From the scenic seaside town of Albany, meet the oceans largest mammals on an extraordinary journey. From the feeding grounds of the Antarctic to the warm waters of northern Australia and beyond, migrating Humpback and Southern Right whales fill King Sound George as they make their epic trek, the longest migration of any mammal on earth.
