At NRMA Palm Cove Holiday Park, we are dedicated to sustainable practices and offering high-quality nature-based tourism experiences that protect the Wet Tropics and Great Barrier Reef. Our Environmental Sustainability Policy and Management Plan, reviewed annually, guide our efforts to minimise environmental impacts and comply with regulations. Initiatives include upgrading to LED and solar-powered lighting, implementing a 3-bin waste management system, recycling, using refillable soap dispensers, and hosting community fundraising events. We participate in the ecoBiz Program to monitor and reduce resource use and carbon emissions. We encourage guests to support sustainable tourism by using energy and water efficiently, choosing biodegradable soaps, recycling, using reusable water bottles, and selecting reef-friendly sunscreens like Sunbutter.
