Koala Country Experience

To provide an educational experience for local and international visitors to experience koalas in a naturalistic but controlled habitat, safe from predators, extreme weather conditions and ever threatening habitat loss. Constructed of largely recycled materials and/or plantation grown timbers and incorporating natural light in its design, eliminating the need for lighting and power. 12 years ago Oakvale Farm & Fauna World embarked on a koala tree plantation project, and to date have over 3,000 established trees to enable us to be completely self sufficient and 27,000 established trees planted in disused sand mines, linking up vital koala habitats and creating a safe haven for koala populations away from populated areas. We have an established working relationship with our local koala preservation society. This new construction project will also allow us to better provide an exciting interactive education experience for local and international exchange students to compliment their learning curriculum.
