Sustainability Commitment

At Pinnacles Airlie Beach, sustainability is embedded in our day-to-day operations and long-term vision. Our participation in EcoBiz coaching and the Whitsunday Healthy Heart Project demonstrates our commitment to responsible tourism and community wellbeing. We minimise our environmental footprint through energy-efficient systems, waste reduction initiatives and water conservation measures, and we proudly operate a recycling program through Containers for Change. Unopened, non-perishable goods are donated to the Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre Community Pantry, while our support of local events strengthens the regional community. We also encourage guests to opt out of mid-stay servicing in exchange for a Pinnacles Eco-Friendly Tote Bag and a donation to EcoBarge Clean Seas, contributing to the protection of the Whitsundays’ marine environment and ongoing climate action.
