At Prosail Whitsundays, protecting the environment is part of every adventure. Wherever conditions allow, we harness the power of the wind to explore the Whitsundays, reducing fuel consumption while providing guests with an authentic sailing experience. We are also recognised as a High Standard Tourism Operator by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority for our commitment to operating to high environmental and operational standards. Our commitment extends beyond the water. We are reducing our carbon footprint by supporting Regenerate Australia’s tree planting programs. We also support Clean Seas by helping fund the removal of marine debris and are proud Silver Sponsors of The Orangutan Project, contributing to rainforest conservation and wildlife protection. Onboard, we minimise single-use plastics by encouraging guests to bring reusable drink bottles, providing chilled filtered drinking water, and using bulk eco-friendly cleaning products wherever possible. Our crew are passionate about sharing the natural and cultural significance of the Whitsundays, helping guests develop a deeper appreciation for this extraordinary destination while inspiring responsible travel.
