How Red Cat Adventures showcases our eco initiatives: - Providing the option to purchase a refillable drink bottle to minimize rubbish waste and plastic. - Providing the option to purchase naturally sourced, coral friendly sunscreen. - Providing degradable wooden cutlery in place of plastic - Refusal of snorkelling fin use to minimise any coral reef damage / breakage - Environmental education provided to all guests - Tour itineraries set to ensure fuel efficiency (consumption monitored) - Non-powered water sports - Vessels regularly serviced (reduces ‘greenhouse gas’ emissions) - Only natural cleaning products used like vinegar, bi-carb soda and biodegradable detergents and use is kept to a minimum to reduce pollution - Private moorings installed at the resort and Langford Island to reduce anchor damage on the seabed (sea grass provides food for turtles and dugongs and is frequently damaged by chain-drag)

Tongarra Overnight Sailing Adventures

Tongarra offers a 2-day 2-night social sailing experience that’s perfect for the young, fun and adventurous backpacker. The all-inclusive package visits the best destinations in the Whitsundays including Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkelling at pristine locations on the fringing Great Barrier Reef. The experienced crew are handpicked for their knowledgeable and friendly attitude and happily prepare top-quality fresh meals on the BBQ. Guests can also enjoy a banana boat ride for an added adrenaline rush and adventure with friends.

Wildcat Mackay

Wildcat Mackay is a new, custom built vessel for the Mackay waters. We offer day tours to the Cumberland Islands adjacent to Mackay, as well as school excursions as part of our Immersive Learning Project. We provide snorkelling, bush walks, paddleboarding and do regular beach clean ups.
