Discover Rottnest
Discover Rottnest is a 90-minute tour around the island taking passengers to some of Rottnest’s most spectacular locations including the Wadjemup Lighthouse and the rugged West End. It provides you with a complete interpretation of the island through a passionate and knowledgeable Rottnest Express guide. Passengers are invited to sit back and relax and gain insight into Rottnest’s cultural and historical heritage and diverse wildlife and fauna. There are two stops to step outside for great photo and exploring opportunities.
Adventure Rottnest
Adventure Rottnest tour is the ultimate day out for a thrill seeker! Passengers embark on a 1.5-hour wildlife thrill ride aboard a purpose-built, high-powered vessel for the adventure of a lifetime. The Eco Express completes a full circumnavigation of Rottnest (weather dependent), giving passengers an unforgettable up-close encounter with much of what the island has to offer. The waters off Rottnest Island are abundant in animal life, including the majestic humpback whales (who migrate through Rottnest’s waters during September to November) and the delightful antics of the New Zealand fur seal colony at Cathedral Rocks. After the tour, you have free time on the island to explore independently; perhaps rent a bike or go swimming off one of the white-sand beaches.
Underwater Rottnest
Underwater Rottnest tour involves boarding the Eco Express for a high-powered 90-minute afternoon snorkelling adventure to explore all that Rottnest has to offer below the water. This purpose built vessel will take passengers to one of Rottnest’s many turquoise bays; depending on the weather and sea conditions; Salmon Bay, Green Island or Catherine Bay. Spending about 60 minutes snorkeling, there is plenty of time to admire the underwater world of coral and fish including: Buffalo Bream, Herring, Parrot Fish, Western Scaly fins, West Australian Rock Lobster, Octopus, Stingrays, Eagle rays, Moon Tale Wrasse, Garfish and many more.
