The Wadjemup Walk Trail is a major recreation and conservation initiative that is currently being constructed across Rottnest Island. This network of trails (approximately 50km) connects you with the beautiful natural features, abundance of wildlife and rich cultural history that the Island has to offer. There are five main sections of the trail, with three sections currently open to the public.

Wadjemup Walk Trail
The Wadjemup Walk Trail is a major recreation and conservation initiative that is currently
being constructed across Rottnest Island. This network of trails (approximately 50km)
connects you with the beautiful natural features, abundance of wildlife and rich cultural
history that the Island has to offer. There are five main sections of the trail, with three
sections currently open to the public.
Tours and Transport - Inc. Pedal and Flipper Hire
The Explorer Bus service allows visitors to explore the Island with this fun convenient multipurpose service. A jump on/jump off service, that also includes an informative commentary of the heritage significance of the island and local attractions, including favourite beaches, bays and things to see. Rottnest Island Pedal & Flipper is the largest bike and equipment hire facility in the Southern Hemisphere with over 1,300 bikes and specialty equipment available for hire. In addition to the large range of bikes and equipment, you can find helmets, locks, recreational equipment, Island information and cycling advice. This equipment gives visitors easy access to the unique natural (including marine and cultural heritage of the island.
Rottnest Island Campground
Renovated in 2013, the campground consists of 43 non-powered sand covered sites, newly
constructed ablution blocks (with wheelchair access) and a camp kitchen with 4 BBQ plates
and troughs. In addition there are 2 further free standing BBQs.

view, premium, standard, heritage and chalet accommodation. More basic options include
bungalows, cabins, dormitories, chalets and the hostel.
