Sunreef Mooloolaba, a 5-Star PADI Training Centre, is the largest dive centre in South East Queensland, and offers Australia’s first Swim with Humpback Whales experience, from July to October each year, as well as local reef dives, snorkelling trips and diving on the ex-HMAS Brisbane.

Whale Watching Cruise
Jump on board Whale One as we cruise out to the whale highway and witness the antics of the gentle giant of the sea. Witness these marine mammals at play during their migration. Cruises operate June – November.
Australia's first Swim with Humpback Whale Experience
Experience Australia’s first Swim with Humpback Whales encounters with Sunreef Mooloolaba.
This experience is 100% on the Whales’ terms, with whales often swimming closer to see who is hanging out in their domain. Even if you don’t get to swim with the whales, it is an intimate whale watching experience. These tours are seasonal from July to October – call Dive Centre to check dates & availability.
Snorkel with turtles at Mudjimba Island
Our trip to the Mudjimba Island reefs will give you the much needed ocean time you have been seeking, right in our own backyard! Sunreef’s Snorkel with Turtles includes an in-water snorkel guide to both assist you with your snorkeling skills, and to show you some of the reef’s residents. The locals of the reef includes turtles, wobbegongs, rays, many types of reef fish, crayfish, cowrie shells, along with the corals you would expect from Mooloolaba reefs
Dive or Snorkel Flinders Reef
Flinders Reef is one of the most beautiful dive sites in Queensland with pristine conditions and stunning visibility year round perfect for snorkeling or diving.
With an abundance of different species of Turtles, beautiful coral reefs, swim throughs and pinnacles there is something new to discover each time.
Dive HMAS Brisbane, Australia's best Military Wreck
Dive one the World’s best Wrecks, the ex-HMAS Brisbane is a decommissioned guided missile destroyer. Suitable for all levels of diving, you can explore the outside of the wreck and encounter the abundance of local aquatic sea life that inhabits her or explore within the ship, enter the engine room or even visit the control room.
