Sydney By Kayak is a family owned and run kayak tour business.  We have been in operation for eight years, offering exclusive, small group Sunrise Kayak and Coffee tours and Eco tours on beautiful Sydney Harbour, Australia.

Our vision is to introduce people to the fun of kayaking, appreciating our beautiful harbour and bringing a heightened awareness to looking after our environment.  We are passionate about providing a five-star customer experience and supporting our local community.

At Sydney By Kayak, our sustainability commitment is at the heart of everything we do. As a proudly eco-conscious business, we incorporate sustainable practices across all of our operations. From offering reusable thermos cups and glass water bottles to our paddlers and guides, to sourcing uniforms from eco-conscious suppliers, our focus is on reducing waste and supporting marine conservation. We actively engage in litter prevention through our Clean-Up Paddles and fund local sustainability projects like mangrove planting and the installation of Living Seawall Habitats. Our dedication to environmental and cultural responsibility is at the forefront of our business. We hope to educate and inspire our paddlers, contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for everyone.

Social Paddles

Enjoy an hour of kayaking in the fresh air and sunshine! A great introduction to kayaking for new paddlers and families!
Just like kayak hire, except you’ll have 1-2 amazing guides, there to take your photo in front of the icons and keep you safe out on Sydney Harbour.
All equipment and photos included.

Corporate Clean-up

On our Corporate clean up paddles, you will learn all about the sustainability initiatives of the Lavender Bay area whilst collecting rubbish from the waterway. A good dose of fresh air and plenty of vitamin D will set you and your corporate team up for the rest of the day.

Eco Tour

Learn about some of the sustainability initiatives of Lavender Bay, whilst collecting rubbish from the water. Enjoy fresh air and gentle morning exercise that will set you up for the rest of the day. All kayaking and clean-up equipment included, plus passionate Guides, who will also take photos on tour.
