Taronga Western Plains Zoo
At Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, you’ll find yourself surrounded by wildlife in wide open plains. Whether you walk or ride around the Zoo’s six kilometre circuit on hired bikes or carts, it’s a fun way to spend time with the family, away from it all. When planning your visit to the Zoo, remember that all tickets are valid for two consecutive days, giving you ample time to access all that is on offer. The Zoo is home to over 500 animals including giraffes, rhinos, elephants and big cats. Daily keeper activities (included in cost of admission) and special tours deliver magical experiences you will never forget. The Zoo’s free access Savannah Visitor Plaza includes a shop, playground and cafe overlooking a lake and islands, home to lemurs and monkeys. You can also stay the night at the all new Zoofari Lodge or Billabong Camp.
