Torquay Surf Academy primarily offers surfing lessons and surf hire from our base office in Torquay. Lessons also can include sea kayaking and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Hire available includes wetsuits, surfboards, body boards, sea kayaks and SUP’s.

Our surf lesson customers walk to the beach for their lesson, no bus, car transport, no parking impact at the beach and all customers lessons or hire are educated by us about the impact of not staying on parthways and dunes at the beach. Leave the sand, rocks any sea creatures at the beach.

Surfing Lessons

Our surfing lessons are available in a variety of different formats including, one on one coaching, small group sessions and large school / corporate group sessions. All surfing lessons are performed on local beaches adhering to our relevant permit requirements from local councils.
We also offer a 5 birth surf camp with transport by four wheel drive to all our surf spots along the great ocean road.

This camp can run up to 5 days but is directed at weekend stays. The sessions are filmed and these pictures are available for all our guests.
