Townsville Eco Resort is Advanced Ecotourism Certified and aims to inspire Environmentally Sustainable Tourism through best practices over 3 core services Waste, Water and Energy

We are currently developing an eco- glamping experience and constructed wetland. Constructed wetlands are a series of shallow, densely-planted, man-made ponds that help filter water through physical and biological processes. They provide a natural way to treat and remove pollutants from storm water before it enters our creeks, rivers and oceans.

Bush Oasis Caravan Park provides accommodation and camping options with low footprint for those wanting to experience nature adjacent to award-winning ECO certified "Billabong Sanctuary". Whilst on site they may experience the local wildlife that call the park home, being wallabies and local birds and educational programs currently being implemented on wetland education and water conservation and benefits to the environment. Within close proximity to Cape Bowling Green National Park and Australian Institute of Marine Science, we are an integral supporter of our local flora and fauna and Great Barrier Reef.
