Sustainability Commitment

Leave no trace is True North’s central eco-philosophy and we aim to minimise and eventually eliminate pollution of the natural environment. Onboard waste is either processed via our treatment plant, retained for recycling, or retained for disposal at an approved waste management site. Coast and Coral

An adventure that combines the very best of two equally stunning destinations – the Kimberley coast and the Rowley Shoals! In the beginning your vista will be framed by layers of ancient geology and then your every moment will be awash in the vibrant colours of a coral wonderland. See all of the coastal icons and then immerse yourself in one of the world’s most-rare habitats!

Sydney Rocks New Year's Spectacular

Sydney Harbour is an epicentre of excitement during the festive season and being outrageously spoilt on-board the True North is the penultimate option to experience all! Begin with a sumptuous dinner on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world! Spend a day exploring the harbour before starting the New Year with a bang as we park the True North ‘bridge-side’ for one of the world’s most spectacular fireworks displays. And then spend the next 2 days soaking-up the tranquillity of the Hawkesbury – wilderness on the doorstep of Australia’s largest city! No need to call a taxi – you don’t even need a reservation for dinner! A truly very different way to experience Sydney!

Great Barrier Reef Cruises

We will start our 13-night Great Barrier Reef Ultimate cruise in Cairns finishing at the Gold Coast. During this cruise we intend to visit Hinchinbrook Island, Cape Bowling Green, Whitsunday Islands, Percy Islands, Island Head Creek, Swain Reefs, Fraser and Moreton Islands. A snorkelling, diving, sightseeing, fishing and nature-based adventure cruise.

Kimberley Wilderness Cruises

The Kimberley region in North Western Australia is a panorama of rugged mountains, spectacular gorges and majestic waterfalls. Purpose built to go where other ships cannot, the stylish adventure-cruise ship TRUE NORTH provides a level of access that is the envy of others! Whilst others sail past – we can safely navigate the region’s many shallow river systems and provide our guests with intimate access to the region’s iconic nature features. And, our activity-based itineraries include tactile experiences such as hiking, fishing, mud crabbing, picnics, natural history interpretation, seeing the ancient rock art of the Australian Aborigines and exhilarating helicopter rides.

West Coast Explorer

Relish in vibrant contrast – the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean lap the red sands of the ‘north’ as the West Coast Explorer winds its way north from Fremantle to Dampier. The Abrolhos are steeped in history; Ningaloo boasts world-acclaimed marine life and the Montes offer fishing paradise – the ‘West Coaster’ is a sojourn that tames Australia’s still-wild western shores! A must for snorkelers and divers, a must for fishers, a must for the adventurer at heart!

Adventure South West

And prior to disembarking in Fremantle, revel in the party atmosphere of WA’s favourite island playground – Rottnest Island.

Southern Safari

The South Australian coast from Kangaroo Island to Ceduna boasts an endless horizon of white sandy beaches, uninhabited islands and sheltered bays – truly one of Australia’s undiscovered gems. The Southern Safari is a stylish journey of discovery with a unique mix of adventure, history and relaxation.

Coral Atoll Cruises

The Rowley Shoals feature exaggerated corals, mind-blowing fish life and stunning underwater clarity; but perhaps more important than anything else – even today they are visited by only a fortunate few! Guided by a marine biologist and a team of underwater naturalists; divers and snorkelers alike will revel in a diverse wonderland of coral habitats including maze-like lagoons, surging tidal canyons and breathtaking walls. And the keen anglers will match wits with big blue-water pelagics such as black marlin, sailfish, wahoo and yellow-fin tuna. Wander the enticing shores of Bedwell Island, see the rookeries of the red-tailed tropicbird and indulge in a True North favourite – sunset drinks on the beach – 300 kilometres from the shore! The Rowley Shoals are Western Australia’s premiere coral playground!
