Multi-award winning, Whalesong Cruises offers year-round half-day experiences aboard a purpose-built, accessible and environmentally friendly catamaran. Operating from July to October, their half-day cruises guarantee humpback whale sightings, with morning and afternoon options that include meals, drinks, and courtesy hotel transfers. Beyond whale watching, Whalesong Cruises provides a range of tours, including West Coast K’gari Fraser Island Beach + BBQ cruise, sunset cruises and private charters, all designed with sustainability and guest comfort in mind. The vessel accommodates up to 100 guests, but only take maximum 75 with guest comfort in mind, ensuring spacious viewing decks and accessible facilities.

Dolphin Watch / Whale Search

Prior to the official start of whale season, Whalesong is looking for the first majestic humpbacks to enter the Bay. On this half day cruise, we encounter dolphins, turtles and dugongs, with our Marine Biologist giving insightful commentary. Fun, educational, interesting, respectful and inspirational. Morning tea and lunch included.

Whale Watching

A half day experience of ‘The Biggest Show on Earth’ with Whalesong will leave you with cherished memories to last a lifetime. Close encounters with humpback whales (mums, calves, juveniles and male escorts), intimate viewing and hydrophone to hear the whales ‘sing’. Fun, educational, interesting, respectful and inspirational. Morning/afternoon tea and lunch included.

Fraser Island Beach + BBQ Cruise

5 hours of relaxation and fun as we discover a remote West Coast beach of K’gari (formerly Fraser Island). Spend the hours kayaking, swimming, fishing, riding on the inflatable and/or chilling. Cultural and historical commentary given. Morning tea and lunch included.
